Beacon Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for social distancing and contact tracing
Based on our standard BLE products, we have developed a new firmware, for social distancing and contact tracing, to contrast Covid19 spreading, thanks to the new special services and also buzzer and vibration, in three different versions.
Thanks to their ductility, these BLE beacons can be used even after the end of the Covid emergency, thus allowing long-term technological innovation into enterprise environments.
Beacons can also be integrated in complex systems, with the presence of Gateway devices, to contrast crowding in closed placed (open at all third part devices).
Also, they can be used for applications in logistics, industry and at all levels of the company. In other words, the proposed beacons, after the Covid emergency, can be rearranged for other purposes and other projects.
Beacon BLE “Contact Tracing” version
Global Tag DISK BEACONY for CONTACT TRACING is a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2) Smart Beacon designed for indoor/outdoor IoT applications, as same as our standard version, but with a new feature (in red color, below in this document), developed to cover the Contact Tracing requests due to pandemic Covid19.

- GATEWAY FUNCTION FOR CONTACT TRACING. BEACON CAN LISTEN AND DETECT ANOTHER BEACON IN THE PROXIMITY AREA (from 1meter to 2meters.). When it occurs, the beacon can:
1) Emit light signals (blinking LED)
2) Send a special “Contact” advertising packet
3) Store into beacon memory the Mac Address of the beacons detected in the proximity area (up to 5.000 Mac address)

Beacon BLE “Social Distancing + Contact Tracing” version
Global Tag SOCIAL DISTANCING BEACON BLE with Vibration, Buzzer and LED is a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2) Smart Beacon designed to make sure people keep the safety distance between them. The most important additional feature (in red color, below in this document) it’s the immediate activation of alarms for social distancing, through vibration, buzzer and led. It has been developed to meet all the functions requests due to pandemic Covid19.

- When the battery is low, two lights will flash once every 5 seconds.

Customization
There are many possible customizations for the “Beacony” family. From printing, lasering, coding directly into the firmware with parameters specific to the encoding of BLE beacon with univocal values.
