Each of them is equipped with an RFID tag showing the characteristics of the content and making it unique and identifiable.
The study of the most compliant tag led to the use of a Metally UHF, an On-Metal tag suitable for metal-intensive environments, with a strong, all-weather permanent adhesive. Its flexibility also allows it to adhere perfectly to the surface of the round bin.
The bins are placed on a pallet, which, when passing through the control point, are automatically detected and each one is assigned a location within the stock.
It was thus possible to obtain an overview of the warehouse as well as to manage the logistics of the bins from their entry, storage and exit.
